Chem Challenge is the annual high-school chemistry competition organized by the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University. Every year, upper-secondary students (Mathayom 4–6) from schools across Thailand come to Chula to show their chemistry knowledge and laboratory skills, competing in teams of two. The competition is organized by faculty members and students of the department.
The first Chem Challenge took place in 2012 with 47 teams (94 students). The competition has grown steadily ever since, and this year 120 teams (240 students) are taking part.
